Forests outside the State Forests

Data for forests outside the State Forests (PGL LP) management comes to the Forest Data Bank from two sources:

• UPUL studies, prepared with subsidies from the DGLP forest fund, are obligatorily transferred to the Forest Data Bank in the form of SWDL files. These data are transferred by the district offices to DGLP, from where they are transferred to BULiGL, as the BDL operator.
• The studies are collected by BULiGL staff as part of the Forest Data Bank project. These data are processed to a uniform structure and are often digitized. This method collects data from UPUL, ISL, and PUL for forests outside the State Forests, as well as protection plans for national parks.

Data for forests outside the State Forests National Forest Holding from both sources are updated annually, i.e. data collected in a given year is transferred to the BDL databases in the following year and is visible on maps.
