SWDL

The Forest Data Exchange Standard (SWDL) is a specification defining the structure for exchanging forest data between databases. It allows for the representation of spatial and descriptive attributes of forests (forest objects) in the form of a data file. It enables the transmission of a description of the data model used for the transfer as well as information about the creation and purpose of the data contained in the transfer file.
