Geology

Geological data comes from the resources of the Polish Geological Institute (PIB PIG) and is included in the FDB primarily through OGC PIB PIG services: surface geological formations, landslides and areas at risk of mass movements, raw materials – deposits, mining areas and areas.

The natural landscape types layer was created by vectorizing a map from the Atlas of the Republic of Poland published by the Surveyor General of Poland. Specifically, it is map no. 53.1 "Natural Landscape Types" at a scale of 1:1,500,000.

This data is available on most thematic maps on the portal.
